Green Cedar Lebanon was honored to present “Dessine-Moi L’Orient | Draw Me the Orient”—a unique exhibition that brought together the worlds of art and environmental stewardship—held in Abu Dhabi. Under the esteemed patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and in collaboration with Salwa Zeidan Gallery, the event featured over fifty artists who masterfully captured the spirit of nature, particularly the iconic Lebanese cedar, in their artwork.
The exhibition witnessed the presence of H.E. Mohammed Ben Nahayan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, as well as Lebanese Ambassador to the UAE, Fouad Dandan. Their participation, alongside distinguished guests, artists, and environmental advocates, underscored the significance of the event in fostering cultural and environmental collaboration.
More than just an artistic showcase, “Draw Me the Orient” is a call to action—an initiative that harnesses the power of creativity to support Lebanon’s reforestation efforts. The exhibition’s proceeds will directly contribute to Green Cedar Lebanon’s reforestation project in Annaya, Mount Lebanon, transforming artistic expression into tangible environmental impact.
“This exhibition is not only a celebration of beauty but a powerful message of hope,” stated Pascale Choueiri Saad, President of Green Cedar Lebanon. “Each brushstroke reflects our shared commitment to preserving the natural treasures that define our heritage. Thanks to the generosity of our patrons and artists, we are sowing the seeds for a greener future.”
Having traveled from Beirut to Monaco, Paris, and New York, “Draw Me the Orient” now arrives in Abu Dhabi—a city that embodies sustainability and cultural collaboration.
This global journey underscores the exhibition’s mission: to inspire collective action for the protection of Lebanon’s forests and the environment at large.
