In May 2022, the 5th edition of the”Draw Me a Cedar, Lights of a Rebirth” exhibition was launched at Sursock Palace, a historic and artistic landmark in the heart of Beirut that had suffered severe damage from the August 4 Beirut Port explosion. This exhibition served as a beacon of hope and resilience amidst the challenges faced by the country. Fifty magnificent cedar trees, created by 50 of Lebanon’s most skilled artists, adorned the remaining walls of the palace. A portion of the exhibition proceeds supported the planting of Green Cedar Lebanon’s second cedar tree forest, “The Eternal Love Forest – Loop,” while another part was allocated to aid in the restoration of Sursock Palace.
